Here are a few scenes from LEG II Augusta's unforgettable experience: LAFE AD 43. Unfortunately I was not able to take very many photos at Fort Lafe, just a few on the first day, but this gives a bit of the flavor. The fort is about half finished and seems to grow every year, as well as the vicus. This is rapidly becoming one of the great American Roman experiences. |
